José González López was born in Órgiva (Granada) on the 3rd of March, 1961. He joined Antonio Marín Montero's workshop when he was 28 years old, but before he has carried out many other jobs, such as gas delivery man, waiter, shop assistant, etc.

Together with this prestigious luthier from Granada (Spain) and José Marín Plazuelo, he learned this traditional and handmade job. It is in this workshop where he began to make his first classical guitars.

Nowadays, he has become a well-known luthier who sell his own guitars and he continues to share his experiences and time with those who were his masters. His instruments have achieved fame and prestige due to their quality and characteristic sound.
